Disney Concert Hall -- Los Angeles, CA

The County of Los Angeles teamed with Frank Gehry Architects, Mortensen Construction and many local contractors to build the now famous landmark in LA.  The shape, finish and overall look of the building is “one of a kind”.  D 7 provided early Design for roofing and waterproofing over 2 years before it was constructed.  Waterproofing systems include hot rubberized asphalt, Air barrier beneath the exterior skin, Modified Bitumen roofing and Elastomeric coating.  As you can imagine, any water into this building would create quite a problem.

D 7 provided Quality Assurance throughout construction, which proved to be quite tasking at times due to the complexity of the construction and application details.
